Hi all, i’m Natalia Filannino
A new word for me is EXPOSURE: be exposed to the language.

And the best TIP for me and of course it’s new to use: MIND MAP. It’s very useful and simple and i love it.

Thanks 😊

Hi everyone, i´m Leo 👋🏻👋🏻
In my case, the best tool for learning technical words has been "the connection" the mind mapping is very good to learn and associate new word.  I'll start preparing a mind map about my job: the process of aggregates.

Another tip, I found useful was:  simultaneously reading and listening to a text (Reading-While-Listening)
Now it´s time  to put it into practice. Thanks 💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻

Hi everyone! I'm Mariano
I think "Exposure" is one of the best resources to improve our vocabulary, and appling the useful tip "reading-while-listening" is an interesting way do it it.
I would recommend to use different sites and apps as well, as a complementary resource that can help us to achive our goal.
Let's put it into practice!!
Grace
I think reading while listening is a very useful tool for me in videos, movies and youtube songs.
I have chosen a song from The Wicked movie: Defying gravity. I have listened to it with lyrics.
I'm going to make a mapmind with the word "wicked".
I've taken some notes of the phrasals or idioms i've found like:
To bring bliss
To deserve a chance
Those who'd ground me
Grovel in submission
It comes at much too high a cost
Soon I'll match them in renown

With some of them i will write sentences.

That's all, see you!!! :) ;)

Hi all!!

For me, exposure is definitely the best way to learn English! I traveled in February for a month, and that experience confirmed it. During that time, I had to read, speak, think and listen to everything in English ... there was no other option! When you're exposed to the language, you are forced to use it, and that helps you improve much faster. In my case, that way it was helpful.

Hi everyone!

I think the most useful tips for me to learn new vocabulary are exposure, reading while listening and the mind maps.
I'm really interested in using mind maps to remember phrasal verbs and learn some idioms or different meanings of the same word.

This month I'm going to work on doing a mind map of the word "mind" because it has so many uses!

Hi everyone!
I agree with most of you that exposure is the best way to learn a new language, because you don¿t have any other option than think and talk, and express yourself in that language.
In the past few days I put in practice the tip Reading While Listening with several chapters of "Friends" and it was really helpful to understand and learn some new words.
From the ebook that Ceci gave us, in the first link that appear I learn the meaning of the word "embrace", and I didn't know that it was a synonym of "hug".
Have a nice week!

Hello! I´m Daniela. To practice English I prefer an online dictionary with examples and I enjoy reading graduated books, there I learn a lot of vocabulary. The online collocation dictionary is very interesting and it will help me a lot. I like grammar in levels and I love elllo, there are audios with conversations in levels to be exposed to the language. Have a nice week!!
